Braden King, a Yale-bound senior at Jesuit High in California, won the Division 1 boys race at the CIF Sac-Joaquin Subsection meet at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds in Angels Camp. King covered the 3-mile course in 16:06.8, edging Zach Ayers of Davis Senior in 16:07.8, to lead six Jesuit athletes in the top 25, advancing to the Nov. 13 section championship meet at the Willow Hills course in Folsom.
